OotD: How I Style Velvet Shorts for a WORKOUT

The title is harking back to the previous post How I Style Velvet Shorts in my Dreams. in which I yearn for these shorts to arrive to me with a series of very different outfit collages. Well, they finally arrived! In celebration I donned some lace and went running up hills in what I deem a “workout outfit”.

Whether you wear them belted because they’re a bit to large (opps) or not you can’t deny they beg for dark lace and a fuck-you kind of shirt to finish off the outfit. The billowing chiffon the belt creates reminds me of Gypsy 83 but also lets your skin breathe if you’re icky from all the effort walking creates. Add in some Doc Martens (heavy enough to upgrade stepping into a task) for jumping around on rocks and wet tracks, and your not-so-typical workout t-shirt and you have yourself a Gothy ensemble fit for exercise.

What do you wear to work out? Would you ever think of wearing a Kimono belted? I’m still not sure what I think of the belted kimono. Coen says that I look like I’ve just gotten out of bed. I consider that I positive. I wish I look like I’d just gotten out of bed after every run.

Outfit: Blackcraft Cult!

I’ve been wanting to pick up some Blackcraft Cult shirts for a while! I bought the Levitate shirt (it reminds me of The Craft) and the Hail Satan and Drink Coffee shirt (not pictured) because I am an addict. They came yesterday and I couldn’t wait to throw an outfit together with this one!

On the website this shirt only came in Large and up, so I was planning on wearing it as a dress. But apparently their large is the smallest Large I’ve ever worn; don’t forget the bigger people, guys! As for quality, there isn’t much I can say. It’s, well, a shirt. It definitely doesn’t have that worn in feeling that I swear-to-god every YouTuber feels the need to define.

And of course, I’m wearing some shorts but I need something that hints more towards the fact that I’m wearing pants since there were far too many middle-aged men gawking at me! But I love these shirts so much I doubt any gawking could stop me!
