Getting these shoes in the mail was a great way to start my weekend, on one of those weeks that you aren’t quite sure if you’re ever going to make it to the end. I feel like it doesn’t matter how much medicine I’m forced to coerce my cat into taking she’s never going to get any healthier.

Fashion and style has always been a hobby that I gladly thrust myself into when I’m having a hard time. Although some of my outfits have (to put it bluntly) really sucked, it’s calming to sit and watch X-files videos for hours while I hand sew something or try out a new trick with my nails. In this outfit I was trying out Stella Rose’s heart nail tutorial in my own kind of style. What do you think?

What do you do when to cheer yourself up when you’re having a hard time?

I’m wearing: a white blouse from Kmart, velvet shorts from Asos, socks from Gypsy Warrior, boots from Go Jane, and the ring was an extra with an oddity I received on Etsy.

Outfit Post: Pirate-y Thing with Boots and Plaid

Beware to be seeing a lot of rehashes of clothing as of recently. Hopefully in different ways, otherwise I probably wont upload them. I’m trying to get more out of the wardrobe I have, I think I’ve already rambled on about it too much but I’m just trying to re-use clothes that I don’t use much these days. Thus, comes this plaid, high waisted skirt and boots.

Outfit:

Singlet: Best and Less? Possibly.
Cardigan: Same as usual, thrifted. You’ve seen this cardigan many times before.
Stockings: Anonymous.
Necklace: EBay. It’s actually a coffin, that I think I’ve shown on here before. I haven’t worn it since Supanova.
Boots: Kmart.
Skirt: Self-made. I’m not too much of a fan of the blue in this skirt which is probably why I don’t use it very much.
Belt: Self-hand.

I adore this boots but I don’t wear them enough to do justice. I’m too obsessed with my Docs. Unfortunately the day that I chose to give these a run is the same day I happened to end up running up and down hills and rocky paths – I’m so glad they didn’t break. With Kmart heels you never know. The prime reason I chose to shell out my lovely Dr Martens.

Best wishes,

Outfit: Suprise Party

I went to a friends surprise birthday party on Saturday and this is what I wore. I thought it seemed rather pirate inspired so I went with it.

Outfit:

Blouse: Second hand. Originally the arms would not fit me so I let them out a bit and they fit perfectly fine. I wouldn’t rock climb in it but it’s fine to prance around in as one does.

Skirt: Self-made. It’s still not finished but maybe one day.

 Petticoat: Tulle tutu from EBay.

 Socks: Mall sock stall.

Shoes: Kmert. (Intended)

Necklace: Stall at Animania.

Best wishes,
-Sary

Animania: Bought Goods

This weekend before Animania I made a promise to myself to pick up one particular thing; A wallet. I’ve only ever had one wallet before and it was pink with Kittens on it. That was quite a while ago. I also bought some jewellery from a stall. It’s lovely but cameo’s are very common these day’s.

Wallet:
I found a wallet that I actually like, it’s decent and wasn’t too expensive. It’s a Death-Note wallet with Ryuk on it (Ryuk is a Shinigami which is God of Death). He;s my favourite character apart from L and I thought it was somewhat fitting to me.

Cameo Choker:

I wasn’t sure about the Cameo choker at first. I left the store and came back later and finally folded. I’m regretting it slightly but it is very lovely.

They had Zombie cameo’s as well but I really loved the colour of this one.

 Necklace/s:
This is my favourite thing I bought.

At first I didn’t think it was a too part necklace and only wanted the Skull Cameo. When I found out it was a set I realised it was a complete bargain!

Best Wishes,
-Sary
